Preschool and Children’s Day Out

First Christian Church’s weekday children’s programs were developed as outreach to the community as well as a service to the young children of the congregation.

Our mission is quality education for early childhood development.

Recognizing that the most important work children do is play, we offer an open, nurturing, positive environment where children interact physically and socially with the world around them.

Preschool is offered for children from ages three through five years. School days are Mondays through Thursdays from 9:30 to 12:00 noon. We also offer an “extended day” for preschoolers until 2:30 p.m. on these four days.

Our Children’s Day Out plan is for children ages 6 weeks to two years. This program offers babies a social outing and older children a chance to gain personal independence with learning and social enrichment through circle time, songs, art, music, and play. Children’s Day Out operates Monday through Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
